Iran is rejecting a proposed new transit route through the Strait of Hormuz, calling it “unacceptable and dangerous” unless vessels coordinate directly them.
WASHINGTON — Iran's Revolutionary Guard said early Saturday it targeted U.S. military positions in the region, in response to a fresh U.S. strike against Iran, though it did not provide details. The U.S. did not immediately respond to Iran's claim.
