The new Beam Celebration Center opened its doors recently next door to Beam Funeral Service & Crematory at 2170 Rutherford Road in Marion. The 8,500-square-foot event space can accommodate as many as 400 people. The chairs and tables can be moved around into any arrangement or taken out all together for more space.

The Beam Celebration Center has a stage and a 26-foot screen with 4K resolution. There is also a state-of-the-art sound system, said owner Chad Beam.

Hometown Floral, also part of the Beam Celebration Center, is now open for business. Owner Chad Beam said this new operation is a full-service florist shop and it won’t be just for funerals.

Owner Chad Beam said this new 12,000-square-foot building is a part of his funeral home. But it is slightly different. The center can be booked for all kinds of events such as parties, weddings, anniversary celebrations, religious activities, corporate gatherings and meetings.
