Log InThe McDowell County Board of Elections announced the candidate filing period for Soil and Water Conservation supervisor will take place in June and end in early July. The candidate filing period for the position of McDowell County Soil and Water Conservation supervisor will begin at noon on Monday, June 8, and will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 6. There are two positions available. The filing fee is $5, payable at the time of filing. Candidates must file in person at the McDowell County Board of Elections Office, located at 2458 N.C. 226 South in Marion.
