NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Catawba College women's lacrosse program is represented by three student-athletes on the IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll released Wednesday afternoon.
To be eligible for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must hold at least a 3.50 GPA while being either a junior, senior or graduate student. The association awarded 568 student-athletes from 65 Division II institutions this year.
Adelsberger and Sorvillo, who received their bachelor's degrees in environment and sustainability and biology, respectively, are second-time winners of the award. An early graduate with her degree in nursing, Ferraro secured Academic Honor Roll status in her first year of being eligible.
