Blue Ridge Parkway visitors will not be disappointed when looking for fall color in 2025. The color is at or near its peak around the Linn Cove Viaduct area below Grandfather Mountain, with good color in the Boone and Blowing Rock area including Moses Cone and Julian Price parks.

                "Our fear is that with temperatures staying below freezing today (Sunday) and much of tomorrow, many roads will be bad in many places across the state for days to come," Gov. Stein said.
