TS Orthodontics and Dental Specialists is again holding its 16th annual pumpkin-decorating contest for the Halloween season. Each of the four office locations for TS Orthodontics has its own display. The team provides a carvable pumpkin to all local general dentist offices, filled with candy. This year at TS Orthodontics’ Marion location, there are a total of eight participating offices in the contest. “They use their creativity to decorate the pumpkin however they choose,” said Treatment Coordinator Taylor Amerto. “Then, our team gathers all decorated pumpkins, which are displayed in our four office locations for the entire month of October.” They are also all posted on the Facebook page for TS Orthodontics to allow online voting. Then, at the end of the month, whichever pumpkin has the most votes with online and in-office votes combined wins a catered lunch from TS Orthodontics. At the Marion location, the carved pumpkins have general dentists represented from Marion, Bakersville, Spruce Pine, Newland and Morganton offices. The practices represented with these carved pumpkins are Marion Family Dental, Dr. Jonathan Lindsey, Dr. Bouger Aldridge, Spruce Pine Dental Arts, Growing Smiles, Marion DDS, Whitaker Dental and Dr. Bruce Sinden. The Marion office is located at 2218 Rutherford Road, Suite B.
