On Thursday of last week, the wine shop at 20 S. Main St. in downtown Marion held a first-year celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Marion Business Association and the McDowell Chamber of Commerce. Mayor Steve Little and other city of Marion officials, along with other downtown business owners, all crowded into the shop to celebrate Marion Wine’s success.
One year ago, Marion’s new wine shop first opened for business with the goal of providing customers with an impressive selection of quality wine and champagne products.
