West McDowell Middle School held its winter sports awards recently at the school. Here are the award winners for the winter sports season that includes wrestling along with girls and boys basketball and cheerleading.

Wrestling award winners are Trent Elliott (True Grit Award), Malachi Miller (Coaches Award) and Blake Aldridge (Most Valuable Wrestler) Not Pictured: Ayden Fleming (Most Improved).
