The Dallas Cowboys are one of the three top favorites to win the NFC in 2023, and with the expectations set so high, we have picked out our favorite futures bets for America’s team -- including their season win total.
2023 Cowboys win total prop: Over 9.5 wins (-154 or better)
The Cowboys’ win total is set at 9.5 (-154/+124) heading into the 2023 NFL season. For a team that is third in odds to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl and sixth to win the whole thing, that isn’t that intimidating of a line.
Dallas won 12 games in each of the last two seasons and has hit the Over in five of the last nine campaigns, even though all but the most recent two were only 16-game seasons.
They are also just around the midway mark at 18th in strength of schedule, which means that they don’t face an incredibly tough road to another successful year.
One of the main determinants of Dallas’ future success will be Dak Prescott’s ability to limit turnovers. He promised that he would keep his interception total below 10 after leading the league in picks in 2022 despite missing a quarter of the season.
The defense is expected to be elite thanks to the addition of former Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore and the continued excellence of edge rushers Micah Parsons and Demarcus Lawrence.
The Cowboys ranked fifth in scoring differential in 2022 and are poised to find similar success this time around.
There may be initial growing pains with Kellen Moore no longer calling plays, but they should be expected to find their way and ultimately hit the Over.

No NFC East team has won the division in back-to-back seasons since 2003-04, and the Eagles, last year’s champions, are dealing with a ton of turnover at the player and coaching level.
Dallas Cowboys NFC odds: +600 or better
The Eagles have several problems to deal with, as mentioned above, and the San Francisco 49ers will start Brock Purdy fresh off a major injury on his throwing arm, leaving Dallas as arguably the best option of the top-3 favorites.
