Saturday morning, the McDowell County Democratic Party held a march from the Marion Community Building to the McDowell County Courthouse to express concern over recent federal immigration enforcement actions that have resulted in deadly force against civilians.
“Though we are far from Minnesota, we stand united with all families impacted by these tragedies and with every person threatened by policies that sanction violence and deepen fear,” said Susan Elliott, chair of the McDowell County Democratic Party.
