Friday, May 31

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Trail shuttles to Catawba Falls (Pickup from Water Street)

4-7 p.m. Twig weaving (Mountain Gateway Gazebo)

3:30-8 p.m. Old Fort Trails and Trains Block Party includes:

● Food trucks

● Live music at Mountain Gateway amphitheater

● 3:30-5:30 p.m. A Different Light 

● 6-8 p.m. Solvivor 

● 8 p.m. Special movie screening of “Masterminds” (2016 movie filmed in Old Fort) Free popcorn. Screening at Euda Wine.

Saturday, June 1

7 a.m. Start for Ridge to Rails

8 a.m. Ridge to Rails half marathon

9 a.m. 10K start at Camp Grier

8-10 a.m. Pancake breakfast (Mountain Gateway Museum)

9 a.m. Fonta Flora 5K Fun Run (Old Fort Town Hall)

9 a.m. Yoga walk, Meadows Loop, Gateway Trails

9 a.m. Trail Workday on the Rostan Trail with G5 Trail Collective

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shuttles to Catawba Falls (Location Meet: Old Fort Elementary School)

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

●  Vendor Village and food trucks at Mountain Gateway Museum

● Route 70 Cruisers at Waterways

● McDowell County Bookmobile at Old Fort library

● Tour of the McDowell Tech Trails School and Fonta Flora Trail and Arrowhead Park

● Self-guided tours of Old Fort Train Depot and caboose

● Train Day at the Depot with model trains, tours and vendors

● Old Fort library story walk, Vendor Village

11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Fly fishing demonstrations, Mill Creek at the Vendor Village
