On Friday, McDowell High School students showed off their talents on the auditorium stage. These were the contestants in the school’s talent show. The high school’s talent show featured 10 contestants and their talents ranged from singing to playing the guitar to interpretative dance with flags to performing feats of magic to even drawing a portrait in a short amount of time.

Jayden Tate earned honorable mention in the high school’s talent show. He will go on to represent the high school in the countywide talent show.

Juli Hollifield won second place with her rendition of “Almost There” from the Disney movie “The Princess and the Frog.” She will go on to represent the high school in the countywide talent show.
