They are, from left, Rylan Parkins, who won the People’s Choice award; Eli Elliott, who was crowned Mr. MHS, Mr. Sexy Legs and the All-In award winner; Haze Helms, who was the Richards family’s Choice winner; Roby Franklin, who won Mr. Congeniality; Job Marsh, who was named Mr. Moneymaker; and Gavin Gouge, who was named the Gouge family’s Choice winner.

Mr. MHS is held by McDowell High Student Council and DECA Chapter and is a student-run event. Students are in charge backstage, students choreograph the opening dance, write the script, create the programs, design T-shirts and posters, choose decorations, ask businesses for donations and run the show.
