The Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village, formerly the Amherst Museum, is located on 35 acres along Tonawanda Creek Road in Amherst. The nonprofit organization is committed to preserving the history of the region. Costumed interpreters help guests learn about life in the 19th century as they tour the historic buildings.
