On Monday, Spillway Bridge & Co., the popular music hall and taproom at 93 S. Main St. announced on Facebook that effective Tuesday it would permanently close. The acclaimed Americana group Yellow Feather was just one of the many artists who played there.

Bluegrass groups like the Jacktown Ramblers often took the stage at Spillway Bridge & Co. Its stage featured all kinds of music including jazz, folk, blues, Americana, hip-hop and rock.

Musicians, both local and from around the region, came to perform on Spillway Bridge’s stage.

The bar at Spillway Bridge had a variety of craft beers and high-end cocktails. Later, food was added and brunch was offered there on Sundays.
