A vision for a healthier McDowell County was realized when the Corpening Memorial YMCA opened its doors 15 years ago. This, month the Y celebrates that accomplishment while looking toward the future.
Her gym currently has more active hall of fame members than any other powerlifting team in the Carolinas.
