This event will provide educational, entertaining presentations/programs
designed to familiarize you with different types of fraud, scam and safety
information. This is a free event and includes lunch. This event is provided
through the McDowell Senior Center, the North Carolina SHIIP (Seniors’ Health
Insurance Information Program), North Carolina Senior Medicare Patrol and the
McDowell County Sheriff’s Office.
If you have documents that you need to have shredded, please bring them to the
McDowell Senior Center on June 19 between 9:00am-2:00pm. There will be a
shred truck and staff located outside the Senior Center to take your documents.
You are limited to a maximum of five boxes or trash bags of documents to be
shredded.
This event is open to the public and door prizes will be given out during the event.
