Where:

Tom Johnson’s Camping World Pavilion

When: Saturday, October 3rd, 6:00 PM
Fellow McDowell residents, the Voter Engagement and Education Committee is
hosting a Board of Education Candidate Forum. We are asking the Board of Education
candidates to answer questions in writing prior to the forum that we will publish on
social media and in the newspaper. We will be asking additional questions of the
candidates in person at the forum.
Now is your chance to speak up! What issues are most important to you?
We want to hear from parents, education professionals, support staff, grandparents,
students, business, health, and trade professionals, and anyone else in the
community that is interested in McDowell County Schools.

Please consider what issues/questions you would like
discussed by the Board of Education candidates and
email those to cepmcdowell@gmail.com by July 31st.
Hosted by the Voter Engagement and Education – McDowell, a non-partisan group striving to
educate and promote increased participation in the November 3 election.
